This Week/Next Week
This week was a good week. I got a part in a play, I rode on top of a double decker bus and went ice skating for free, I got all of the wonderful things I ordered from McSweeney’s, Adam and I got Jeff Mangum tickets, and the weather was lovely (for the most part).
But next week is going to be the most ridiculous thing ever: three auditions, three short papers and one longer one, a ton of stuff to memorize, class registration, rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal, and I think I am going to go crazy. But the Anais Mitchell show is next Sunday and then it’s basically Thanksgiving. Hopefully I will survive until then.
Right. Off to force myself to be productive.

All I can say I should have said.
I kind of feel like I’m going crazy.
This is from a production of Hair that was done at NYU in 2006. I watched a few other clips from the show and it may be the weirdest thing I have ever seen. I kind of feel like they were trying to be too new and too different. It’s a really crazy interpretation. I mean, they all have shaved heads, which is a pretty intense commitment, but they have SHAVED HEADS… and the musical is called HAIR. Whatever, some things are just too avant garde for me to fully appreciate, I guess.
