I want to see it! AH.
THIS IS SO EXCITING. Man, I need to get back to New York soon.
On Thursday, I went to Brighton Beach to be in a student film. We found a dead cat and I had to prod it with an umbrella. ARRRRT!
On Friday, Adam bought a cassette tape deck, Ty showed us her short film that Alexis and I were in, and I went to a weird party in a tiny apartment on Thompson.
On Saturday, a few of us saw Trojan Women at Atlantic. I had mixed feelings about it. Then there was the Broome talent show with free pizza and then Hannah’s party, which was nine-year-old themed and a lot of fun.
Today my dad visited and we went to Lombardi’s at a weird time so we didn’t have to wait and then walked all the way to the High Line, walked the whole High Line, and then walked to Penn Station to take the subway back here.
It was a good weekend, but I have a midterm on Tuesday that I haven’t really studied for. I will tomorrow. I will study so much tomorrow.
1. I’m doing this new thing where I don’t go on the internet very much. It’s kind of awesome.
2. I went to New York last Sunday night until Monday night. When I got out of the West 4th subway station, it was raining pretty hard, but I couldn’t help but smile like an idiot. Honda and I walked through the torrential downpour to 2 Bros. and Insomnia and it was hilarious. The next day I met my pen pal, Yannick, in real life, which was cool. Among other things, we walked the entire length of the High Line and I got to see the newly-opened part and it was beautiful. Also, Honda bought a desk for no reason and Thomas, Daniel, and I went to midtown to help him lug it back to Goddard. (I didn’t help; I just watched and laughed.) Then we met Alyssa at Veselka and walked to Broome afterwards, where we saw Barb completely by chance. It was an awesome couple of days. I am going to be back in a week. I am so goddamn excited.
3. We sold out The Comedy of Errors tonight! And tomorrow is our last show, which is crazy.
4. Next week is my last week at Buffalo Exchange, which is also crazy, but probably a good thing if I want to have any money left for food at school. Working there is kind of dangerous for me.

It was almost 80 degrees outside today. I walked from my dorm to Third North to rehearse and then I walked back in the sun and the warm breeze and the girls wearing dresses, sandals everywhere and t-shirts and open windows. Then I was going to force myself to do work, maybe read in the park for a bit, but Honda and I spontaneously decided to walk to the High Line and then ate dinner at this neat little place that apparently had sub-par sparkling water. This weather makes everything seem okay, or at least more okay than usual. I used to have this thing going where I tried not to stress and worry about things too much but then everything got really overwhelming. Now I think I’m going to try to go back to that.
